I don't usually do environments because I don't like them. I don't like environments because I'm not very good at them. I'm not very good at environments because I don't usually do them. See the problem here? It's a vicious cycle that I'm hoping to break.
Committing to a daily posting is, unfortunately, unrealistic for me. I feel good about weekly, though. I will do environments both from observation and of my own design, focusing on lighting and color. In general I work in Photoshop with a Wacom tablet and stylus, but don't wig out if I throw in some traditional mediums here and there.
